Trump picks Sen. J.D. Vance to be his VP running mate
Vance widely seen as pro-Israel and pro-life, but only 39, is he too young?
DENVER, COLORADO — Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump just announced his running mate.
He did so on his Truth Social media account.
The choice is Ohio Senator J.D. Vance.
Only 39 years old, Vance represents the hopes and dreams of many young conservatives.
He is also outspokenly pro-Israel.
However, he has only been a U.S. Senator for 18 months.
Some Republicans – including former Senator Rick Santorum, in an interview published by ALL ISRAEL NEWS earlier today – are questioning whether Vance is ready for the job.
Trump is expected to formally and personally make the announcement at 4:30 p.m. EST at the GOP Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
