IDF takes part in major military drill in Morocco alongside Arab countries

Amid the Fighting in Gaza, An Israeli delegation from the IDF has flown to Morocco to take part in a military exercise alongside 20 other countries – some of which are Arab states. This was first reported on (Tuesday) by Kan News Digital.
Unusually, footage was published in Morocco showing the arrival of the delegations, in which the Israeli flag was publicly visible. Last year as well, at the height of the fighting in Gaza, an Israeli delegation flew to the exercise in Morocco; however, the IDF at the time prevented publication of the news, claiming it could harm the security relations between the countries.
The event is called the "African Lion" exercise, the largest military drill in Africa, partly held in Morocco under the leadership of the United States and the Moroccan Armed Forces. This marks the third consecutive year that Israel has participated in the exercise.
