BIDEN’S BETRAYAL: Refusal to veto terrible UN resolution creates another terrible week in US-Israel relations

Biden is telling people Netanyahu is ‘a bad f****** guy’

Watch video

WASHINGTON, DC — The relationship between the Biden administration and the Netanyahu government is steadily going from horrible to much, much worse.

Both on here ALL ISRAEL NEWS and THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN, I’ve been warning that the U.S.-Israel alliance is heading for “a train wreck.”

I wish I was exaggerating but I’m not.

For the past five weeks, I’ve been traveling and speaking and doing media interviews all across the United States and every week that I’ve been here the level of trust between the two governments has steadily deteriorated.

ABSTENTION RATHER THAN A VETO

President Biden’s decision earlier this week to abstain from — rather than veto — a hostile, biased, anti-Israel resolution inside the United Nations Security Council was reprehensible.

Indeed, it was evidence of Biden’s betrayal of Israel.

Biden says he stands 100% with the Jewish state and its leaders.

Biden says he wants Israel to defeat Hamas in Gaza.

Biden says he is doing everything he can to release the 134 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

But it increasingly feels like mere talk.

But Biden’s actions tell a very different story.

On Monday, March 25 — as ALL ISRAEL NEWS reported — “the United Nations Security Council approved a draft resolution…demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan after the United States abstained in the vote. While the resolution called for the release of the hostages, it did not condition a ceasefire upon their release. A U.S. veto would have prevented the resolution from passing. Instead, the measure passed 14-0. The U.S. had blocked similar resolutions in the past.”

This is not how America should treat a faithful ally, especially in a time of war.

NETANYAHU’S OUTRAGE

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu was outraged, and rightly so.

His office released the following statement.

“The United States has abandoned its policy in the UN today. Just a few days ago, it supported a Security Council resolution that linked a call for a ceasefire to the release of hostages,” it began.

“China and Russia vetoed that resolution partly because they opposed a ceasefire that was linked to the release of hostages,” the statement continued. “Yet today, Russia and China joined Algeria and others in supporting the new resolution precisely because it had no such linkage.”

“Regrettably, the United States did not veto the new resolution, which calls for a ceasefire that is not contingent on the release of hostages. This constitutes a clear departure from the consistent US position in the Security Council since the beginning of the war. Today’s resolution gives Hamas hope that international pressure will force Israel to accept a ceasefire without the release of our hostages, thus harming both the war effort and the effort to release the hostages.”

“Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear last night that should the US depart from its principled policy and not veto this harmful resolution, he will cancel the Israeli delegation's visit to the United States. In light of the change in the U.S. position, Prime Minister Netanyahu decided that the delegation will remain in Israel,” the statement concluded.

HAMAS PRAISES UN RESOLUTION

Not surprisingly, Hamas welcomed the UN Security Council’s decision and issued its own statement.

“We emphasize the need to reach a permanent ceasefire that would lead to the withdrawal of all Zionist forces from the Gaza Strip and the return of refugees to their homes. We also highlight our will to engage in a prisoners’ exchange measure that would lead to a release on both sides.”

This is how badly Biden has betrayed Israel this week, that he ordered his team to abstain from a UN resolution that was praised by genocidal terrorists.

Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer said that Israel was “very disappointed” by the Biden decision, calling it “the wrong message at the wrong time.”

“It was the wrong message, because it's not connecting the issue of a ceasefire with the return of the hostages,” Dermer said in a series of interviews on U.S. cable news outlets. “And why is it such bad timing? Because we had negotiators in Doha trying to get an agreement to release hostages, and it's not surprising that Hamas decided to reject the latest proposal that was put forward by the Americans….Why should they not reject it? They think they're going to get a ceasefire without giving up the hostages, because that's what the resolution said.”

BIDEN PRAISED SCHUMER'S SPEECH CALLING FOR REGIME CHANGE IN ISRAEL

The terrible decision by Biden to cut Israel loose at the UN comes on the heels of Biden blasting the Netanyahu government strategy for destroying Hamas’ last terrorist divisions in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

It also comes on the heels of Biden praising a recent speech by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in which the Senate’s top Democrat personally attacked Netanyahu, called him an “obstacle to peace” in the Middle East, called Bibi a leader who has “lost his way,” and effectively called for regime change in Israel with Netanyahu being voted out of office immediately.

It comes on the heels of Biden blasting Israel’s military efforts to defeat Hamas in Gaza after the ghastly October 7th attacks as over the top.

What's more, it comes on the heels of White House aides leaking to reporters that Biden is cursing Netanyahu behind closed doors with all manner of vulgar language.

Biden is telling people that Netanyahu is an “a**hole.”

Biden has also recently said that the prime minister is “a bad f****** guy.”

I don’t personally agree with every decision Netanyahu is making.

And Lord knows, Netanyahu is very controversial inside Israel and his poll numbers are dropping.

But I have to say that I’m sickened by Biden’s treatment of Israel’s prime minister.

And I pray that Biden changes course and starts truly and completely backing Israel to win this horrible war quickly and decisively, vanquish Hamas, bring all our hostages home, and enable more aid and assistance to get to suffering Palestinians in Gaza.

That’s Biden’s job.

That’s what allies do for each other in wartime.

Instead, Biden is betraying Israel week after week.

And God only knows what the future holds.
