16:00 - Italy summons Israeli ambassador after UNIFIL claims IDF fire wounded two peacekeepers

The UN peacekeeping force UNIFIL claims that IDF tank fire wounded two peacekeepers in its Lebanon headquarters in Naqoura amid the fighting against Hezbollah.

The Israeli ambassador was summoned by Italy's Foreign Minister following the incident. Italy contributes the largest contingent of soldiers and the head of the mission to UNIFIL.

15:44 - Hezbollah launches 50 rockets at towns along Western Galilee coast, including Nahariya and Acre

Rocket alarm sirens were activated in towns along the Western Galilee coast, from Nahariya in the north, through Shomrat and Bustan HaGalil, all the way to Acre and Kfar Masaryk, on the Haifa Bay.

IDF said 50 rockets were launched from Lebanon, and some impacts were identified.

14:23 - Rocket alarms across central Galilee, including Karmiel and surrounding towns

Rocket alarm sirens were activated across several central Galilee towns, including Karmiel, Deir al-Assad, Majd al-Kurum and Peki'in.

13:38 - Rocket launched from Lebanon lands in northern Samaria, no sirens activated

A single rocket launched from Lebanon landed in an open area in the Jenin area, in northern Samaria, Army Radio reported.

There were no reports of casualties or damage, and no sirens were activated according to policy.

13:17 - Israel's Chief Rabbi urges prayers for hostages and IDF soldiers ahead of Yom Kippur prayers

Chief Rabbi David Yosef called on rabbis in Israel and around the world to add a special prayer for the return of the hostages and the safety of the Israeli soldiers ahead of the traditional Yom Kippur prayer, Kol Nidre.

In addition, the requested prayers to be said for the murdered and fallen Israelis during the ongoing war, and for the quick recovery of the injured and wounded.

11:47 - Victim of Hadera terror stabbing succumbs to his wounds

Refael Mordechai Fishhof (35) succumbed to critical wounds he sustained during yesterday's terror stabbing attack in the city of Hadera, Israeli media reported.

He leaves a bereaved wife and eight children.

10:29 - IDF continues degrading Hamas forces in Gaza Strip, kills dozens of terrorists

The IDF said its troops killed dozens of terrorists in Jabaliya in northern Gaza over the past day.

Israeli soldiers found weapons, rocket launchers and underground tunnels during raids in Jabaliya, in central Gaza, and the southern town of Rafah, bordering Egypt.

The Air Force assisted the ground troops by striking around 30 Hamas targets over the past 24 hours.

10:02 - Hezbollah fires 40 rockets at Upper Galilee including Kiryat Shmona, Metula and Beit Hillel

A barrage of some 40 rockets was fired from Lebanon at the Upper Galilee, activating alarm sirens in Kiryat Shmona and nearby communities, including Metula, Beit Hillel, Misgav Am, and Margaliot.

The IDF said that some rockets were intercepted while others landed in Israeli territory.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.

10:01 - Two victims of Hadera terror stabbing still in serious-critical condition

The Hillel Yaffe Medical Center released an update about the condition of the five hospitalized victims of the terror stabbing in Hadera on Wednesday.

One victim is still in critical and unstable condition, while another is in serious condition but conscious. Another person is in moderate condition, and three others were classified as "good."

08:10 - IDF kills two Hezbollah terrorists responsible for rocket and anti-tank missile launches into Israel

The IDF announced that IAF fighter jets attacked and killed Hezbollah's Houla region commander, Ahmad Mustafa al-Haj Ali, who was responsible for hundreds of rocket, mortar, and anti-tank launches at the Kiryat Shmona area.

In another attack, the commander of the anti-tank array in the area of Mais al-Jabal, Muhammad Ali Hamdan, who was responsible for many anti-tank attacks towards the northern settlements, was eliminated.

On Wednesday night, Israeli fighter jets attacked weapons depots near Beirut and weapons depots and other military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

08:05 - Israeli hostage Yarden Bibas has second birthday in Gaza captivity

Yarden Bibas, who was abducted to Gaza last October, and has been in captivity for more than a year, will mark his second birthday in Hamas captivity today.

Yarden, who was separated from his wife and two young sons by Hamas terrorists during the attack, will become the first hostage to mark a second birthday in captivity. Yarden's family observed his birthday yesterday at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv.

05:58 - Reserve soldier Roni Ganizate was killed in battle in southern Lebanon

Sergeant Major (Res.) Roni Ganizate (36) was from Giv'at Shmuel and served in the 228th 'Alon' Brigade. Ganizate was killed during combat in southern Lebanon yesterday.

Another soldier was critically wounded and was taken to a hospital in Israel. His family has been notified.

00:42 - Israel's Ambassador to the UN Security Council: "When Hamas is no longer in Gaza, aid will reach those in need"

During a special UN Security Council meeting on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, stressed that "Hamas has no place in Gaza's future. Once they are gone, aid will reach those who genuinely need it."

"Funding meant for schools and hospitals will no longer be diverted to terrorists; fuel will be used for daily needs like cooking rather than rocket launches, and cement will serve to build roads instead of tunnels."

Danon also noted, "On October 7 this year, Hamas launched rockets at civilian areas in Israel, demonstrating that the conflict is still ongoing. The IDF will continue operations until all of our goals are met."

00:10 - IDF: Air Force successfully intercepts drone approaching Israel over the Red Sea

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) intercepted a drone approaching Israel over the Red Sea from the south, presumably launched by the Yemeni Houthi terrorists. The drone was shot down by IAF fighter jets and did not cross into Israeli territory.
