A routine security inspection of convoy vehicles entering the Gaza Strip yielded the discovery of ammunition in one of the trucks. This comes only two days before the US set 30 day deadline for Israel to up their deliveries of aid into Gaza for the noncombitants still living there.
18:17 - IDF confirms death of IDF soldier
An IDF officer was killed today in the northern region of the Gaza Strip today. He has been identified as Maj. (res.) Itamar Levin Fridman. He was 34 years old, and from the southern Israel city of Eilat. He was the team commander for the LOTAR Eilat unit. May his memory be a blessing.
16:50 - Israeli court mandates taxpayers to cover the legal fees for the Hamas terrorists of Oct 7
Because of mass indecision among the Israeli ministries as to whom is responsible for covering the cost from the second deadliest day since the Holocaust, a decision in the high court was made to make Israeli taxpayers responsible for the debt. This includes the legal fees still outstanding for Hamas terrorists still in Israeli custody who are awaiting trial.
15:40 - Heavy rocket barrage from Haifa to Nahariya
Hezbollah launched about 80 rockets to the Haifa area. Several direct hits were reported in the Krayot area outside of Haifa - two in Kiryat Ata and one in Kiryat Bialik.
12:45 - MDA reports 3 injured in rocket barrage to Carmiel
Magen David Adom said that three people were injured in the recent barrage to the Galilee region, including a 27-year-old woman, who was taken for medical treatment.
12:18 - Reports of falls from recent barrage
Initial reports of impacts in Carmiel, Ba'ana, and other locations in the Galilee after the heavy barrage launched from Lebanon a few minutes ago. Hezbollah-affiliated news site Al-Mayadeen confirmed the rockets were launched by the terror group. It said a warning had been issued to the targeted communities at 11:30 by Hezbollah.
The IDF Spokesman's office later said that around 50 launches towards Israel were detected. Some launches were intercepted, while several falls were also detected.
12:15 - Hezbollah denies receiving any ceasefire 'offers'
Hezbollah Media Relations Officer Mohammed Afif, in a statement released to social media, denied that the terror group had received any ceasefire proposals. His statement came after reports in Arabic and Hebrew media, stating that the group had agreed to withdraw north of the Litani River.
"There are international contacts that we heard about in the media, but Lebanon [Hezbollah] has not received any specific proposals," Afif stated.
Afif also claimed that Hezbollah fighters, "especially those on the front lines, have enough weapons, equipment, and supplies to fight a long war, for which we are preparing on all levels."

A series of alarms were activated in many communities in the central Galilee, Upper Galilee and Western Galilee – due to fears of rocket fire from Israeli territory.
10:19 - IDF expands al Muwasi humanitarian zone
IDF Arabic Spokesman Avichay Adraee announced an expansion of the al-Muwasi humanitarian zone.
"The IDF announces the expansion of the humanitarian zone, which includes field hospitals established since the beginning of the war, in addition to tent complexes and shelter materials, in addition to quantities of food, water and medicine, and in addition to medical supplies that were brought in in coordination between the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories unit and the international community," Adraee posted to 𝕏. "The IDF will continue to work to achieve the war's objectives, including dismantling Hamas and returning all the abductees."
09:45 - Drone explodes in Western Galilee without activating alarms
A short while ago, a drone fell in an open area in the Western Galilee. According to local reports, sirens were not activated before the explosion. Israel Fire and Rescue Services are working to extinguish a fire that resulted from the fall. No injuries or damages were reported.
08:57 - Egypt and Qatar working together to pressure Hamas
Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that Qatar and Egypt are coordinating an attempt to pressure Hamas towards a power-sharing deal with the Fatah party for control of the Gaza Strip after the war.
"Egyptian and Qatari officials recently agreed to threaten Hamas and its leaders in Doha to expel them from there "in the event of reaching the point of no return," to push for an internal settlement of the crisis between Hamas and Fatah," the newspaper said.
06:15 - Israeli Air Force intercepts projectile from Yemen
The IDF announced that following the sirens in the Shfelat Yehuda, Yehuda, and Lakhish areas of central Israel, the IAF intercepted one projectile that approached Israel from the direction of Yemen.
The projectile did not cross into Israeli territory. Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
Ynet news later reported that the projectile intercepted by the Israeli Air Force from Yemen to Israeli territory was a ballistic missile, which was destroyed by the Arrow system before crossing into Israeli territory.
