WATCH VIDEO: Some Iranian missiles break through Israeli defenses, streaking into Jerusalem – I saw and heard several intercepted but not all
IDF says Iran fired 200+ missiles and drones at Israel – attack is “on-going”
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL. At 9 minutes before 2 a.m. local time, I heard three huge explosions over southern Jerusalem.
However, no emergency sirens were set off.
Moments later, the sirens began – that's when I saw upwards of 12 to 15 drones coming from the east, through Jordanian airspace, heading over the Israeli capitol.
At that point, I saw and heard several of the drones intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.
But it would appear that several got through.
Here is a video I shot from my phone.
As of 2:03 a.m., “the Magen David Adom ambulance service says it has so far received no reports of injuries following the sirens that sounded across the country,” the Times of Israel reported.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently meeting with his War Cabinet at the Kirya in Tel Aviv (Israel’s version of the Pentagon) to plan Israel’s response to Iran's historic and dramatic escalation of this war.
“The Magen David Adom ambulance service says its medics are treating a 10-year-old boy in southern Israel who was wounded amid the Iranian attack,” reports the Times of Israel.
“The boy, from a Bedouin town near Arad, is listed in serious condition, MDA says. It is unclear whether he was injured by missile fragments or an interceptor.”
