U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) addressed the Day of Prayer and Support for Israel at the Knesset in Jerusalem last week.
The special event, hosted at the Knesset by the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, was initiated by Knesset Member Tatiana Mazarsky of the Yesh Atid party, who has attended JPB events in the past.
The theme of the event – United for Victory – brought together Israeli Members of Knesset, Evangelical Christians, and Jewish leaders and rabbis to pray for the State of Israel and its citizens, to honor and show support for Israel Defense Forces and to call for the return of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel C. Rosenberg addressed the prayer meeting live, and other U.S. Members of Congress, including U.S. House Representative Michael Cloud (R-TX), and recently elected Speaker of U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson also addressed the gathering via a recorded message.
Cruz addressed the 2022 Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast gathering in Dallas, Texas, along with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

This is Ted Cruz, United States Senator for Texas.
I am humbled to participate in the 'United in Victory' day of prayer and support for IDF soldiers and for every Israeli citizen. I want to thank the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast team who organized this day as we stand together, united for the peace of Jerusalem and united for Israel’s prosperity.
These are undeniably dark and perilous times. Hamas’ attack on October 7th was the worst one-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The people of Israel are fighting a war of survival between civilization and barbarism.
I have a simple message for the Knesset, the IDF, the people of Israel and the Jews watching this around the world. Texas and all of America stands with you. We are all praying for the IDF soldiers risking their lives and for every single Israeli citizen who has suffered from this horrific terrorism.
As I record this, I’ve just finished viewing footage of the horrific atrocities of October 7th. These were acts of indescribable evil. The only possible response is the utter eradication of Hamas.
The United States must support Israel in its efforts for as long as it takes. I am praying for the Hammer of Justice to be brought down on Hamas, and I’m praying for lasting peace in Jerusalem.
Thank you for your tireless fight for the safe return of the hundreds of hostages taken by Hamas, including several American citizens.
May God bless you and may God continue to bless the State of Israel.
