Angry Palestinians demonstrated against the Palestinian Authority (PA) on Wednesday, confronting senior PA officials and accusing them of weakness following the 44-hour IDF operation, known as Operation Home and Garden.

Israel reportedly eliminated 12 terrorists, wounded another 100 and made arrests of another 150 terrorists.

One Israeli soldier was reportedly killed during the fighting.

Hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated in front of the offices of the PA government, where they threw rocks at the walls, as seen in footage posted on social media.

Three PA senior leaders were forced to leave the funeral for 10 of the deceased terrorists after a crowd of thousands, including dozens of gunmen, protested against them.

On Wednesday, following the end of the military operation, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that the “objectives of the operation have been achieved.”

Despite the announcement, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organization paraded through the streets claiming victory.

According to Gallant, Israel’s military operation in the Jenin refugee camp became a necessity, as the PA has allegedly been unable to address the increasing levels of terrorism nor create stability in the West Bank, especially in the northern district.

Israel now estimates that almost half the population in Jenin is affiliated with PIJ or the Hamas terrorist organizations.

Israel has criticized the PA and its 87-year-old President Mahmoud Abbas for being weak on stemming down terrorism, while the PA has accused Israel of undermining its authority, making it impossible to have control over the escalating situation.
