Trump says Jews who vote for Harris should ‘have their head examined’ in interview with Elon Musk
Trump repeats claim that if he had been president ‘Israel would've never been attacked’
Former U.S. President Donald Trump was interviewed by CEO Elon Musk on Monday, where he discussed a range of topics, from his campaign against Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris to the Ukraine War and the situation in Israel.
The live broadcast on 𝕏 was delayed by over 40 minutes due to technical problems, but the social media platform later claimed the interview garnered over 73 million views.

Musk began the interview by speaking with Trump about the assassination attempt at his campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 14.
“Your actions at that assassination attempt were inspiring,” Musk said to the U.S. Republican nominee. “The President of the United States represents America, and I think that is America, that is strength under fire.”
Trump said the experience was “not pleasant,” and reiterated his claim that he survived only because he turned his head to see a sign. They called that turning of his head at the exact right time “an act of God,” saying “it’s a miracle that it happened and I’m honored by it.”
Trump described the reaction from the crowd after he put his fist in the air.
“When I put the fist up, they were just relieved and happy and thrilled,” he said. “It was pretty amazing.”
Trump spoke harshly about his opponent in the presidential campaign, Kamala Harris, calling her a “radical left lunatic” who is “far more left than Bernie Sanders.”
The former president also repeated a phrase he made in a press conference last week.
“If you're a Jewish person or if you're a person that is very pro-Israel, if you vote for her [Kamala], she's worse than Biden, and Biden was bad, but if you vote for her, you ought to have your head examined.”
Trump also took issue with the border situation in the southern United States, which he blamed on Harris.
He said that over 20 million people entered the U.S. during Biden’s administration, claiming “many coming from jails and prisons.” He also tied the border situation to Israel’s fight against Islamic terror, saying among the illegals “many are terrorists.”
Trump went on to explain that large numbers of illegals are not coming from South America, “they’re coming from all over the world.”
Many, he said, are “coming from the Middle East, they’re coming from countries that are stupidly and horribly bombing Israel on October 7.”
Trump said the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel “never should have happened.”
Later in the interview, Trump blamed U.S. President Joe Biden for the attack, and said if he [Trump] had been president, “the Israeli attack would never have happened.”
Biden’s foreign policy had put the U.S. “in a very bad position,” according to Trump, who also claimed that the Russia-Ukraine war and the situation in the Middle East could lead to World War III.
Regarding the threat of nuclear escalation, which he claimed is the biggest threat to humanity, Trump said he wants to build a U.S. version of Israel’s Iron Dome to mitigate missile attacks.
“Why shouldn’t we have an Iron Dome? Israel has one,” Trump said.
