Terror leaders afraid of IDF attack, take ‘unprecedented’ security measures
Leaders of Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon took “unprecedented” security measures on Wednesday due to fears of Israeli attempts to kill them, the London-based Arab newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported.
The terror groups also sent messages through mediating parties that any Israeli “aggression” or assassinations would be answered, the report added.
In the aftermath of recent terror attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant blamed Iranian-supported proxy groups for the attacks, including the Hamas-ruled Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and hinted at retaliatory attacks against them.
