Syria reports 4 army personnel killed in Israeli airstrike near Damascus
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), four Syrian soldiers were killed early Monday morning in an Israeli airstrike near Damascus.
A military source reported to SANA: “At around 02:20 a.m. on Monday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial act of aggression from the direction of occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some sites in Damascus.”
The source claimed the Syrian military also intercepted several Israeli missiles.
According to the military source, four other soldiers were injured in the attack.
Israel refrained from commenting or claiming responsibility for the aristrike, according to common practice.
