PM Bennett meets with parents of fallen soldier, Hadar Goldin, held by Hamas
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met today with Simcha and Leah Goldin, the parents of the late Lt. Hadar Goldin, who was killed in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge and whose remains have been held by Hamas since 2014.
Also in attendance were National Security Council head Meir Ben-Shabbat, Israel's hostage coordinator Yaron Bloom and the prime minister's Military Secretary, Brig. Gen. Avi Bluth.
The session was one of the periodic meetings held by Bennett to update the families of POWs and MIAs.
Bennett told Lt. Goldin's parents that he would be in regular contact and that his door is always open to them.
