Palestinian support group requested London anti-Israel protest during Hamas-led massacre of Israelis on Oct 7

It has now been revealed that the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) initially requested a permit for an anti-Israel rally in London, while the unprecedented Hamas rocket barrage, invasion and brutal massacre of Israelis was still underway on Oct. 7, 2023.

The London Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) replied in answer to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request submitted in late 2023:

“The MPS were contacted on Saturday 7 October at approximately 12:50 pm via telephone call and informed of the intention to protest. The MPS committed this to our systems on the same day and are satisfied being contacted by telephone was a sufficient means in which to notify the MPS as the event was taking place seven days after notification.”

Dave Rich, the head of policy at the Community Security Trust, posted on 𝕏 in response: “It’s hard to comprehend that while Jews around the world watched with horror as a pogrom took place in Israel on October 7, the ghouls at PSC saw the exact same images and thought ‘let’s have an anti-Israel demo.’”

The Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) noted that “this was prior to any Israeli action in Gaza. At that point, the only action in the region was Hamas killing Jews, and this was evidently motivation for the PSC to rush to activate people to rally ‘in solidarity.’”

By the time the PSC spoke to the police, Hamas had fired thousands of rockets into the south and center of Israel and had killed hundreds of civilians, taking many others hostage. Videos of terrified men, women and children being snatched by gunmen on motorbikes were already being uploaded to social media via the terrorists’ body cams.

The number of Hamas terrorists and supporters who infiltrated Israel on that Sabbath and Simchat Torah holiday is now believed to be around 6,000. The Israeli forces did not announce that they had regained full control of the destroyed communities until Oct. 9.

Even after the full extent of the massacre became clear, around 30,000 people attended the Oct. 14 march in London, with other pro-Palestinian rallies happening around the UK.

The CAA reports that since then, anti-Israel marches in London alone have cost the UK taxpayer around £55 million, “at a time when the rate of actually solving crimes in Britain is frighteningly low.”

The news comes as a poll by the CAA shows that the British Jewish community have largely lost faith in the Met police to protect them, while the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) have released a video describing the atmosphere in the UK

In the short film, CBN interview Gideon Falter, director of the CAA, investigative reporter David Collier and Rev. Tim Gutmann, co-director of Christian Action Against Antisemitism.

“It’s a completely different country,” says Collier, referencing the demographics and socio-political climate in the UK. “The entire dynamic has changed.”
