09:31 - Mossad chief heads to Qatar for continued hostage negotiations

Mossad chief Dadi Barnea will depart today for Doha, Qatar, to attend a summit with CIA Director William Burns and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed al-Thani. The summit is aimed at restarting stalled hostage negotiations, not finalizing the details of the deal.

According to reports, a quadrilateral summit will take place later with representatives from Egypt. Barnea traveled to Egypt last Thursday, meeting the new head of Egyptian intelligence.

09:04 - Hezbollah drone hits aviation manufacturing site, injuring two

A Hezbollah drone which struck the Bar Lev industrial zone near Acre in northern Israel hit a factory belonging to the BAZ aviation components firm, injuring two people. The factory makes metal components for both civilian and military aerospace clients.

In a statement, the IDF confirmed that a drone launched from Lebanon struck the industrial zone.

"Following the sirens that sounded in the Western Galilee area, a UAV was identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The UAV fell in the Bar-Lev Industrial area. The incident is under review," the IDF said in a statement.

Overnight, the IAF conducted intelligence-based strikes on weapons manufacturing and maintenance facilities and a weapons storage facility belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Dahiyeh.
The IDF spokesman said that over the past day, the IAF eliminated approximately 70 Hezbollah terrorists and struck over 120 Hezbollah terror targets.

Today in Israel, on 25 Tishrei 5785, a national day of mourning is being observed to mark the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The Hebrew date of the tragedy last year was 22 Tishrei 5784. At 6:29 a.m. this morning, the time when the "Black Saturday" attacks began, flags were lowered to half-mast at the Memorial Hall for Fallen Soldiers and the Victims of Terror Memorial (both at Mount Herzl). The flags will be raised back to full mast after sunset.

The IDF says that a UAV launched from the east was intercepted by the IAF in Syrian airspace.
The drone was intercepted prior to crossing into Israeli territory.

04:22 - Iranian officials: "deep concern" in Tehran over destruction of air defense systems

Three senior Iranian officials told The New York Times that Israel's destruction of Iranian air defense systems has sparked "deep concern" in Tehran, as critical energy and economic centers are now more vulnerable to potential future attacks should the cycle of escalation between Iran and Israel continue. “This looks like a potential preamble to a much more effective strike against Iran’s infrastructure and even nuclear sites,” said Ali Vaez, the Iran director of the International Crisis Group. “Iranians can’t replace these systems promptly, which renders the country much more vulnerable in future tit for tats.”

Israeli sources told Sky News in Arabic that Israeli assessments are that Iran will need a full year to rehabilitate its rocket capabilities following the attack.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin gave a warning to Iran against retaliating for Israel's strikes on military sites within Iranian territory. In an official readout of his phone call with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Austin stated, "Iran should not make the mistake of responding to Israel's strikes, which should mark the end of this exchange."

01:53 - Lebanese report following IDF warning: Israel struck in Dahiya, Beirut

The Lebanese channel Al-Jadeed reported that eight strikes were carried out in the Dahiya district of Beirut in less than half an hour. Prior to the strikes, the IDF's Arabic spokesperson, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, had called on residents of several buildings in the district to evacuate.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.

The IDF's Arabic spokesperson, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, issued an evacuation notice for several buildings in Beirut’s Dahiya district. The statement read: "You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the IDF will operate in the near future. For your safety and the safety of your family members, you must evacuate these buildings and those adjacent to them immediately and stay away from them for a distance of no less than 500 meters."
