Justice Minister Levin ‘will respect any decision’ by Netanyahu
Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin said on Monday afternoon that he would respect whatever decision Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu makes.
"I will respect any decision made by Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding the legal reform legislation,” he said.
He also warned against threats to collapse the government, saying that would damage coalition goals.
"We must all make an effort to stabilize the government and the coalition. We all have an obligation not to make the mistake that was made at the time with the overthrow of the Shamir government, a mistake that led to the disaster of the Oslo Accords."
This is an apparent response to National Security Minster Itamar Ben Gvir’s reported threat to collapse the government if Netanyahu pauses legislation.
