Huckabee says Biden has pressured Israel more than Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran
In an interview with Fox News on Monday, U.S. Ambassador to Israel-designate Mike Huckabee said the Biden administration has put “far more pressure” on the State of Israel than it has on Iran and the terrorist groups it funds to attack Israel.
“What we’ve had is a schizophrenic policy towards Israel,” Huckabee said. “We've put far more pressure, with Joe Biden, on Israel than we have on Hamas, Hezbollah, and most importantly, the people who write those checks – the Iranians. Why haven’t we put pressure on them?”
Huckabee went on to say that “we can have a ceasefire” once “Hamas lays down its arms, gives up its bombs, bullets, rockets, and stops killing Jews.”
He said that Biden’s policy towards Israel is “on again, off again,” is “very disruptive,” and gives “more rope to Hamas.”
It is not through making deals with terrorist organizations that peace will be achieved in the region, Huckabee argued.
“There's no peace in that region until these terror groups, funded by Iran, are completely eliminated.”

Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, was recently selected by U.S. President-elect Donald J. Trump to be the next American ambassador to Israel.
An outspoken Evangelical Christian, Huckabee spoke about his love for Israel to ALL ISRAEL NEWS last December.
“We believe in the Bible and we are grateful that God made it crystal clear that He loves Israel and the Jewish people and has chosen to bless them,” Huckabee said.
“That’s why Evangelicals are praying without ceasing for Israel’s hostages to come home quickly and victory over Israel’s enemies.”
Earlier this week, Huckabee told ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel C. Rosenberg that Palestinians “are deserving of the highest level of respect,” but “must recognize the right of Israel to exist.”
