Hamas terrorists in Israeli prison threaten mass hunger strike
Around 1,000 convicted Hamas terrorists currently sitting in Israeli prison are threatening to begin a mass hunger strike, they announced on Thursday, according to a Times of Israel report.
The prisoners cited several government actions they interpret as provocations, such as the transfer of some inmates, certain limitations on the living conditions, as well as the visit of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to Ofer Prison near Jerusalem on Wednesday.
In a message to Israel regarding the condition of the prisoners, Hamas test-fired long-range rockets from the Gaza Strip toward the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday, according to Palestinian media reports.
