Terrorist carries out shooting attack in Huwara, is shot, killed as IDF attempts arrest
A terrorist carried out a shooting attack in Huwara on Thursday afternoon, shooting at an Israeli who was driving his car through the town.
A dramatic video taken from a vehicle driving behind the targeted vehicle shows the terrorist approaching the vehicle, drawing his pistol and beginning to fire.
Miraculously, the car passengers survived the attack without injury.
The terrorist escaped the scene and the Israel Defense Forces launched a manhunt to look for him.
As the IDF attempted to arrest the suspect, he opened fire. The soldiers responded with fire, killing him. The gun used in the attack was recovered at the scene.
According to Hebrew news site Makor Rishon, the IDF is preparing for a series of Brigade operations in Judea and Samaria to confront the growing number of terror attacks in the Palestinian disputed territories.
