Israeli army destroys Hezbollah military positions in southern Lebanon
The Israeli army destroyed launch positions that Hezbollah was using to carry out several anti-tank missile attacks against Israel in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
The IDF's operation was in response to a Hezbollah attack that wounded two IDF soldiers, who suffered light to moderate injuries and were evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
Hezbollah terrorists launched anti-tank missiles from Lebanon at IDF forces near the areas of Dovev, Shtula and Yiftah.
The IDF also responded with tank and artillery fire at the sources of the launch.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that it was a response to the alleged Israeli attack on an ambulance in southern Lebanon three days ago.
