Hamas prevents IDF attempt to supply fuel to Shifa Hospital in Gaza
Israel attempted to supply 300 liters of fuel (almost 80 gallons) to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City on Sunday, but Hamas terrorists prevented the transfer, the IDF said in a statement.
The IDF provided three pieces of documentation showing the attempt to transfer the fuel, in response to repeated statements by hospital officials that its fuel reserves were running low, threatening the lives of its patients.
The first piece of evidence is an audio recording of a phone call by an Israeli official telling a Shifa representative that IDF soldiers would leave 300 liters of fuel at a certain location and then retreat to enable the collection of the fuel.
The second is a video recording from an IDF soldier’s bodycam and drone footage, both showing Israeli soldiers placing the canisters of fuel at the agreed spot.
Finally, the Israeli army published the recording of a phone call between an IDF officer and a health official, in which the health official states that the director general of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry prevented the hospital from receiving the fuel.
