Shavuot worship event with 5 Korean churches in Jerusalem

Korean church Shavuot worship event in Jerusalem

Last Saturday, there was a Shavuot United worship event with five Korean churches in Jerusalem at the Klal Building Pavilion Hall.

About 200 people gathered, including the Korean ambassador who isn’t a Christian yet.

This wonderful event could happen this year by the cooperation of the five churches: Israel Korean church (Yoon, Dukjae), Jerusalem church (Chae, Wanbyung), Jerusalem central church (Seo, Youngjoo), Judae church (Lee, Kangkeun) and Shalom church (Hwang, Sunghun).

Chae, Wanbyung, the pastor of Jerusalem Church and also the chairman of the Korean Association of Israel played the key role with Seo, Youngjoo, the pastor of Jerusalem central church and the chairman of the Association of Korean churches in Jerusalem.

In the midst of the service and celebration, there was a time to honor the two pastors who have lived here for 30 years.

Hearing their gratitude for the past 30 years serving here in Jerusalem was such a touching and encouraging moment for other fellow Korean Christians, especially the successful story of their children. One of them has become a lawyer and two have finished their IDF service excellently.
