As hundreds demonstrate against Arab sector freezing of funds, MK Odeh gets in scuffle with policewoman
About 400 people demonstrated in front of Israel's Ministry of Finance in Jerusalem against the decision of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to freeze funds for the Arab sector.
Protesters called Smotrich a “racist settler” and protested the freezing of funds at a time when crime in the Arab sector is on the rise.
Israeli Arab Knesset Members Ayman Odeh and Aida Touma-Suleiman of the Hadash-Ta'al party participated in the protest.
During the demonstration, Odeh was involved in a scuffle with a policewoman after a protester was shoved to the ground.
