JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – As Israelis grieve the death of more than 1,200 of our fellow citizens, and the wounding of 3,000 more, our country is beginning to shift from defense to offense.
Already, the Israeli Air Force is bombing hundreds of terror targets in the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the IDF has called up more than 300,000 reservists to serve on the ground.
These soldiers are currently preparing, training, equipping and deploying to invade the Gaza Strip and destroy Hamas once and for all.
Yet even as Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu and his military planners organize such an invasion, they have other concerns.
What if the Iranian regime orders the Hezbollah terrorist force in Lebanon to open up a second front and attack Israel from the north?
Already, several skirmishes on the northern border have erupted.
President Biden is also worried about a second front.
That’s why he ordered a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier strike group into the Eastern Mediterranean to warn Iran and Hezbollah to stand down.
Last night, Tom Tradup – our new contributing editor and senior advisor to ALL ISRAEL NEWS – and I had a 30-minute conversation over Zoom, discussing the latest developments in the brutal war that’s raging here.
We covered a lot of what’s already happened in the first four days of the war.
But when Tom asked me about what’s ahead, I told him that I’m very concerned that Hezbollah will go to war with Israel as well.
We talked about why it might happen and some of the implications.
Several years ago, I wrote a political thriller about just such a scenario.
It’s called THE BEIRUT PROTOCOL and it describes Israel and the Saudis working on an historic peace plan, when a massive rocket and ground war erupts on the Israel-Lebanon border.
It was a chilling novel to write.
But I pray to God it never comes true.
In other parts of our long-form conversation, Tom and I also spoke about how Christians can be praying most effectively for Israelis and Palestinians right now.
And where Christians can consider giving financially to bless Israelis and Palestinians caught in this terrible and unexpected war.
I encourage you to watch my conversation with Tom in full and share it with family and friends on social media.
Hope you find it helpful.
We look forward to doing more in the days ahead.
I’m very grateful that Tom – a strong Evangelical Christian and veteran broadcaster who has served for years as the vice president of News & Talk for Salem Radio, the biggest Christian radio network in the United States, and still serves there – also joined ALL ISRAEL NEWS last month.
As the information war against Israel, Jews and Christians heats up exponentially, Tom has come to help ALL ISRAEL NEWS expand our content, traffic and influence.
He couldn’t have signed on at a more critical moment.
