Two injured in suspected terror shooting in East Jerusalem
A shooting in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem this morning injured two ultra-Orthodox men returning from prayers.
The men were apparently returning from morning prayers at the Tomb of Simeon the Just.
The two were treated at the scene by United Hatzalah emergency services before being transferred to a hospital for further treatment. They were both reported to be in stable condition.
While searching for the shooter, a “Carlo” rifle was found near the scene.
Israeli police and Border Police are still looking for the suspect.
