Former U.S. President Donald Trump said he would try to end the war in Gaza quickly if he were reelected as president. He made the statement during an interview with Fox News Media Buzz on Sunday

Trump also claimed he would try to end the war in Ukraine “before taking office, if that’s possible, and I think it is.”

In the interview with host Howard Kurtz, Trump spoke about relations between top Democrats and Israel.

Kurtz asked Trump if Senator Chuck Schumer’s recent call for new elections in Israel sounds “like the U.S. telling a sovereign ally how to run its government.”

“100%,” Trump responded, before saying that Democrats are “very bad for Israel.”

“I guess Israel is loyal to a fault because they stick with these guys,” he continued.

Trump also accused U.S. President Joe Biden of being "bad for Israel."

“Biden is so bad for Israel,” Trump said. “They should never have been attacked. If Biden were good to Israel they wouldn’t have been attacked.”

Kurtz responded that Biden has been a strong supporter of Israel, but Trump interrupted him: “If he were supportive of Israel, the Iran nuclear deal would have never been signed and Israel would never have been attacked.”

The former president said Biden dumped Israel by refusing to support Netanyahu.

”All of a sudden Biden dumped Israel," Trump said. "He just said essentially that Bibi Netanyahu should take a walk."

After Kurtz again raised the issue of Senator Chuck Schumer, Trump accused the senate majority leader of dumping Israel for votes.

After saying that people should remember that Israel “lost a lot of people on October 7,” Trump accused Schumer of caring more about the upcoming elections.

“He doesn't forget it, he looks at, 'Where do I get more votes?' And I guess he's seeing the Palestinians and the marches – Palestinians, and he says I want to go that way instead of Israel,” Trump told Kurtz.

When asked what he would tell Netanyahu, Trump responded that Netanyahu should finish the war quickly.

“I think you have to finish it up and do it quickly and get back to the world of peace,” Trump told Kurtz. “We need peace in the world.”

Trump reminded Kurtz that the Abraham Accords were signed under his watch. He also claimed that if he had been able to continue, he would have expanded the peace agreements further.

“I had four great, hardline countries signed up, respected countries,” Trump stated, before suggesting that he would have been able to get Iran to sign the accords, as well.

“I bet you would have had Iran in the Abraham Accords. That's a big statement, but I would have had them all in,” he claimed.
