On THE ROSENBERG REPORT: This is not hyperbole; US-Israel relations are heading for a train wreck
TBN’s Joel Rosenberg and Erick Stakelbeck push back against Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer who called for a ‘regime change’ in Israel
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer delivered a blistering attack against Israel's democratically-elected government. In an unpreceded speech on the Senate floor last week, the highest-ranking Jewish official in American history called for a regime change in Israel.
“I believe a new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel,” he said.
Schumer defined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as one of the main ‘obstacles to peace,’ putting him on par with Hamas.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take precedence over the best interests of Israel,” he claimed.
In this week’s episode of THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN, ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg called Schumer’s remarks a “despicable” attack on Israel’s democratically-elected government amidst a war.
“Whether you like or don't like Benjamin Netanyahu, he is the democratically-elected prime minister of Israel,” he stated.
Rosenberg noted that U.S. President Joe Biden said Senator Schumer’s speech was “great.”
Does this mean Biden would want to see a regime change in Israel?
Erick Stakelbeck, the host of ‘Stakelbeck Tonight’ which launches on TBN March 25, told Rosenberg that Schumer “was clearly acting as a proxy for the Biden administration.”
“He said the quiet part out loud. I guess this is what the Biden administration is talking about behind closed doors… And we see leaked reports of President Biden calling Bibi some very unflattering names,” he continued.
Schumer argued that Netanyahu's opposition to a two-state solution was steering Israel toward becoming a “pariah state.”
However, recent polls show that most Israelis are, in fact, very supportive of Netanyahu’s defined war objectives of eradicating Hamas’ military and governmental capabilities and ensuring Gaza would never constitute a terror threat to Israel again. Israelis also overwhelmingly reject the notion of a sovereign Palestinian terror state.
“A two-state solution will be a reward for a Palestinian society that overwhelmingly supports Hamas and support October 7,” said Stakelbeck.
What does internal Palestinian polling show?
And how can Christians show love and compassion to Palestinians while standing with Israel during a war?
