Syrian media reports daytime airstrike, blames it on Israel
Syria’s official television channel reported an Israeli airstrike in the northwest of the country early Sunday morning.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that three soldiers were injured in the attack.
Videos on social media showed smoke plumes near the western city of Masyaf.
“The Israeli enemy fired missiles from the air towards targets in Tartus and Hama," according to a Syrian military official.
Israel did not officially comment on the airstrikes.
