Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today with a U.S. Republican Senate delegation led by Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.
Netanyahu called McConnell “a true friend of Israel.”
Netanyahu said that he deeply appreciated the fact that McConnell and his colleagues – some of whom he has known for many years – were among Israel's best friends.
Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides also participated in the meeting.
