Palestinian teen killed in IDF raid in Jericho
A Palestinian teen was killed in an Israeli military raid on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp near Jericho on Monday morning, according to Palestinian health officials.
Israel Defense Forces entered the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp to arrest two Palestinians wanted for terror activities.
According to the IDF, “During the activity in the Aqabat Jabr camp, armed suspects fired at the soldiers, who responded with live fire. Hits were identified.”
The Palestinian teen who was killed was identified as Jibril al-Lada. Six additional Palestinians were injured in the firefight.
It was not immediately clear if the teen was among the combatants firing at the IDF. There has been an increase in the number of youth terrorists killed over the last year.
