Israelis almost evenly split on Netanyahu approval, Pew poll shows
Israelis are almost evenly split regarding their support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a Pew poll conducted in March and April.
Overall, Israelis viewed Netanyahu slightly less favorably (52%) than favorably (47%), but opinions varied strongly.
Of those who support the coalition, nearly all respondents, 97%, said they had a favorable view of the prime minister, including 64% who said they have a very favorable view.
Among critics of the coalition, only 7% had a favorable view of Netanyahu, with 63% having a very unfavorable view.
