Israel will continue demolishing homes of accused terrorists despite criticism from the U.S. for razing the home of a Palestinian-American who is believed to be involved in a deadly West Bank shooting in May.
“We are doing what’s good for the State of Israel,” Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel said.
After Israel destroyed the suspect's home on Thursday, U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said that Washington had some concerns with the policy.
“We attach a good deal of priority to this, knowing that the home of an entire family shouldn’t be demolished for the action of one individual,” Price said.
