Israel Defense Forces released video footage on Sunday evening showing armed men bringing in several captives to Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
The videos were taken from the CCTV of the hospital, with a timestamp showing the date of Oct. 7. In the video, a Nepalese and Thai civilian can be seen being brought into the hospital by terrorists.
In a second video from the CCTV, a heavily injured captive is seen lying on a stretcher while being wheeled into an operating room.
Other images showed armed Hamas fighters standing outside the rooms with the captives, and a captured Israeli military vehicle parked outside the hospital.
“These findings prove that the Hamas terrorist organization used the Shifa Hospital complex on the day of the Oct. 7 massacre as terrorist infrastructure,” the IDF statement said.
"This is further evidence of the cynical manner Hamas uses the residents of the Gaza Strip as a human shield for their murderous terrorist activities," the statement continued.
“We have not yet located both of these hostages and rescued them,” IDF spokesman Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari added. “We do not know where they are.”
Israel also accused Hamas of killing Cpl. Noa Marciano, whose body was recovered near the hospital.
“Noa was kidnapped to an apartment next to Shifa Hospital. During the IDF strikes in Gaza, a Hamas terrorist who was holding her was killed,” Hagari said at the press briefing on Sunday.
“The pathology report states that Noa was injured by the strike, but not in a life-threatening manner, and this is contrary to the lies published by Hamas, according to which the 19-year-old soldier was killed by IDF strikes,” he said.
Hamas had released a video showing Marciano stating that IDF airstrikes were hitting close to her location and were endangering the lives of the hostages. At the end of the video, they showed her dead body and claimed that Israeli airstrikes killed her.
“According to intelligence information, Noa was taken inside the walls of Shifa Hospital, where she was murdered by a Hamas terrorist,” Hagari said, contradicting the Hamas terror group's claims.
Her body was later dumped outside of the hospital on an orange stretcher where troops found it.
Included in the press release from the briefing, the IDF showed a video of Col. Elad Tzuri of the 7th Armored Brigade, identifying the location where Marciano’s body was found.
IDF troops also located the body of the hostage Yehudit Weiss in the vicinity of the hospital.
