Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernández just announced in a recorded message for the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast that in two weeks he will officially inaugurate his country’s embassy in Jerusalem.

This would make the Central American country the fourth nation to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state of Israel.

The United States was the first country to do so in 2018 followed by Guatemala. Kosovo recently opened an embassy here - the first Muslim nation to do so.
