Hezbollah chief vows retaliation – for Israel's retaliation for rockets fired from Lebanon
Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah promised to respond to Israeli airstrikes that came after the terror group bombarded Israel with 19 rockets on Friday.
Speaking in a pre-scheduled televised address on Saturday, Nasrallah added that he does not seek escalation with Israel.
“We wanted to tell our Israeli enemy that any airstrike against Lebanon will absolutely be met with a response – but in an appropriate, proportional way,” he said.
