Gantz: 'We are starting to see the cracks' and 'the enormous impact of the public outcry and demonstrations'
Speaking at a party meeting yesterday, National Unity chief Benny Gantz said the protests are working and have caused officials to rethink their proposals for judicial reform.
Gantz said he “sees the enormous impact of the public outcry and demonstrations, and I’m starting to hear voices from among coalition officials who want to reach agreements.”
Gantz also claims the protests have caused Netanyahu to change his rhetoric when speaking to the international community.
“We are starting to see the cracks and Netanyahu is already speaking differently in English,” he said.
Netanyahu has recently been criticized for delivering one message in English, meant for the international community, but saying something different in Hebrew when speaking to his political allies.
