First suspect in Palestinian death released to house arrest, 2nd suspect still in custody
Elisha Yered, one of the suspects in the fatal shooting of a Palestinian during a confrontation in the West Bank last week, was released to house arrest on Wednesday evening after a court decision.
Yered is suspected of involvement and of obstructing the police investigation and was the former spokesperson for Jewish Power party Knesset Member Limor Son Har-Melech.
The other suspect, Yehiel Indore, will remain in custody as he is suspected of the shooting itself.
Indore was seriously wounded by stones thrown by Palestinians during the violent confrontation near the West Bank village of Burqa.
