IDF intercepts missile shot at Israeli drone from Lebanon amid border skirmishes
The IDF intercepted a surface-to-air missile fired from Lebanese territory toward an Israeli drone. In response, the IDF struck the source of the fire, including the squad responsible for carrying out the launch, according a statement on Wednesday morning.
Throughout Tuesday, skirmishes continued between Hezbollah terror forces in Lebanon and Israeli troops.
Israeli forces thwarted multiple terror squads in an attempt to fire anti-tank missiles at Israeli targets.
Hezbollah terrorists also opened small-arms fire and mortar fire at Israel and attempted to launch rockets at the northern Israeli town of Metula. The rockets did not reach their target.
The IDF responded with artillery shelling and destroyed military targets of Hezbollah with airstrikes.
