‘Ani ohev otach,’ Bruno Mars croons in Hebrew in front of some 60,000 fans in Tel Aviv
Internationally acclaimed singer Bruno Mars performed in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park for the first time on Wednesday night, in front of a sold-out crowd of 63,000 people.
Tickets for this performance, as well as another performance in Yarkon Park on Saturday, sold out in a matter of hours after the sales opened, according to Israeli media.
“The Hooligans [Mars’ band] have come to Israel, thank you for coming! We’ve waited a long time to get here, we want to see you dancing and singing!” Mars called out.
While performing his song ‘Calling All My Lovelies,’ Mars surprised the audience and said in Hebrew “Honey, I'm in Tel Aviv,” before continuing to sing “ani ohev otach” (I love you).
