6th hostage release - 12 hostages have been handed over to International Red Cross
According to Arab media reports, the sixth group of hostages were handed over from Hamas to the International Red Cross and are being transported to the Rafa Border crossing.
The list of hostages released in the sixth exchange included 7 children and 5 women.
Four members of the Bibas family, who were abducted into Gaza together, were not part of the release.
Earlier today, Hamas issued a statement saying that Shiri Bibas, the mother, and her two sons, 4-year-old Ariel and 10-month-old Kfir, were killed in an IDF airstrike.
The IDF said they are investigating the claim but reminded the Israeli public that Hamas has a history of issuing false statements regarding hostages as part of their psychological warfare practices.
