ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg sums up Day 3 of 'Operation Iron Swords'

Massive reserve mobilization, tense situation on northern border

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - The editor-in-chief of ALL ISRAEL NEWS, Joel C. Rosenberg, gave a concise overview of the situation in Israel on Day 3 of 'Operation Iron Swords,’ Israel's official name for the current war against Hamas.

The Israeli army has mobilized over 300,000 reservists so far and moved 100,000 of them towards the Gaza border to prepare for a massive invasion into the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of thousands of additional soldiers will serve in support roles for the fighting units, or secure other sensitive areas like Judea and Samaria, internationally known as the West Bank, and especially the northern border with Lebanon, given the threat by the Hezbollah terror organization.

Israeli leaders have expressed their concern that Iran may push its terror proxy Hezbollah to join Hamas in the fight against Israel.

The ongoing question of how the Hamas surprise attack could have happened in the nation of Israel continues to haunt and grieve many of its citizens.

ALL ISRAEL NEWS and THE ROSENBERG REPORT will grapple with this difficult question in the days and weeks to come.

The Israeli government has confirmed that more than 100 hostages were captured and taken back into Gaza by Hamas terrorists.

We don’t know what will happen to the hostages, and many fear they could be used as human shields, be used in a ransom deal to free jailed terrorists or possibly be murdered on camera in an attempt to destroy Israeli morale.

It is already clear that this was the deadliest day Israel has suffered in decades. If one would compare the number of victims in Israel in relation to the United States, it would be as if 26,000 Americans were killed in a day.

All of this means that Israel is preparing for a long war ahead.
