Sharon Aloni-Kunyo was captured with her husband and two daughters on 7 October. In this interview, she says, “For me, life didn’t go on from the moment they separated me from David [her husband].” Sharon was initially separated from her husband during the attack, and later reunited with him, but separated from one of her twin daughters. Kept in the home of a family in Gaza before being smuggled to a hospital after the bombing began, she tells about the fateful day she was separated from her husband shortly after being reunited with her missing daughter.
