Shir Siegel, whose father Keith Siegel was held hostage by Hamas in Gaza for 484 days before his release on Feb. 1, is calling on the public to join her in a heartfelt tribute celebrating his safe return. Siegel was released by the terror group, along with Israeli hostages Yarden Bibas and Ofer Kalderon.

In a post shared on Instagram, Shir encouraged people to prepare her father's favorite pancake recipe as a symbolic gesture.

"Making my dad’s pancakes in honor of his homecoming," she wrote, inviting followers to "go buy the ingredients" and "get your stomachs ready," she wrote

Keith Siegel was featured in a proof-of-life video released by Hamas during Passover 2024, alongside fellow hostage Omri Miran. The video, whose exact recording date is unknown, shows Siegel sending a message of love and reassurance to his family.

“I want to tell my family how much I love you,” he says, recalling last year’s Passover as a cherished memory. “It’s very important to me that you know I am okay, and I really hope you are too.”

Siegel's wife, Aviva, was also abducted by Hamas terrorists during the invasion on Oct. 7, 2023. She was released after 51 days of captivity. ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg interviewed Aviva in January during an episode of THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN to discuss the ordeal.
