Three fires in southern Israel ignited by arson balloons from Gaza

After nearly three weeks of quiet on the southern border, arson balloon attacks from the Gaza Strip have returned.

Earlier today Hamas threatened Israel with an "explosion" if more restrictions are made against the enclave controlled by the terrorist organization.

The threats came in response to Israeli authorities barring Qatari-backed fuel to be let into the Gaza Strip today. Israel claims that Palestinian Authority officials in Gaza failed to coordinate the import with them. Diesel fuel is essential for Gaza’s only power plant.

“More restrictions on Gaza will only generate an explosion in the face of the occupation,” a Hamas spokesperson said.

He added: “Our people will not be patient for long over the lack of reconstruction and the lag in procedures to break the siege.”
