Six wounded, two in serious condition after attempted murder in Arab village Kfar Kana
A man in his 50s and his 29-year-old daughter were shot and seriously wounded in an attempted murder in Kfar Kana in northern Israel, on Saturday afternoon.
Four other children from the same family were wounded in the shooting, one of them moderately and three others lightly. The police suspect a family dispute as the motive.
Two men with face coverings allegedly entered the courtyard of the family home and shot at the victims before fleeing the scene in a car that was later found burnt out near Kfar Kana.
Just two days ago, two men were shot and moderately injured in another attempted murder in the same town. This year has seen 159 Israeli Arab citizens murdered so far.
Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu led ministerial committee meeting on Wednesday to address the wave of violence in the Arab sector.
