Prime minister says he regularly hosts US state officials to boost Israel's bipartisan support

In addition, Reynolds signed a declaration of support for the State of Israel on its 75-year anniversary of independence to reaffirm the developing ties and friendship between the Iowa and Jewish state.
In the declaration, Israel was recognized for its successful democracy and its accomplishments in security and innovation. It also included a statement condemning antisemitism and acts of terrorism against Israel.
During their meeting, Reynolds articulate her admiration for Israel’s resilience and creativity, and invited Netanyahu to visit Iowa.

Earlier this year, Netanyahu also received a visit from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was in Israel to give a keynote speech at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem.
“I meet with every American representative; governor, senator, members of Congress,” Netanyahu said at the time.
He denied any political bias in such meetings, saying, “I think it’s my job, and it’s important for Israel’s bipartisan support in the United States.”
