Iron Dome activated twice in 2 days; IDF states no danger to citizens
For the second time in two days, Iron Dome missiles were fired at targets over the Gaza Strip but Israel Defense Forces stressed that no rockets were fired nor was any danger posed to Israeli citizens at any time.
The Iron Dome missiles were fired at an unidentified flying object over the Gaza Strip on Monday morning, and an explosion was heard near Kibbutz Alumim, located next to the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday morning, the Iron Dome air defense system was activated to shoot down a Hamas drone over the Gaza Strip. The drone had been under constant supervision and was attacked the moment it started flying east toward Israel.
