Israeli President Isaac Herzog extended an invitation to Moroccan King Mohammed VI to visit Israel in a letter delivered by Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
Herzog's letter reads: “Your majesty, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you in the near future. We are committed to deepening the strength of our relations and I hope that they further expand and flourish over time.”
Lapid arrived in Morocco yesterday to inaugurate Israel's liaison office in Rabat.
