Israel’s defense minister: Iran negotiating with 50 countries for advanced weapons sales
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke at the 59th Munich Security Conference in Germany on Friday, where he warned against Iranian aggression.
“Iran is currently holding discussions to sell advanced weapons, including UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and PGMs (precision guided munitions), to no less than 50 different countries,” Gallant said in his speech.
"Iran threatens not only Israel, but also the security and stability of Europe and the world at large," he added.
Gallant called on the international community to take concrete steps in stopping the proliferation of advanced weapons from Iran.
“All this takes place while the missile embargo on Iran is still in effect – an embargo that will expire this year,” he warned.
