In light of the global increase in antisemitic incidents following the horrific Hamas-led massacre in Israel on Oct. 7, U.S.-based Messianic Jewish organization Chosen People Ministries (CPM) will host a rally called “Oppose Antisemitism: Stop the Hate” at Palladium Times Square in New York City on June 20.

CPM President Dr. Mitch Glaser said the organization felt the need to take action after witnessing the rise in antisemitic sentiments worldwide since Oct. 7.

“We cannot stand idly by while antisemitism continues to spread its pernicious ideology,” Dr. Glaser said. “We must take action to support the Jewish people and oppose the genocidal attacks of Hamas, and various other Iranian proxies like Hezbollah, as well as the growing anti-Jewish movement in the United States and Europe.”

The rally will feature a number of recognized speakers leading teaching sessions designed to raise awareness about antisemitism and equip attendees to take action in their communities.

Some lectures will explore the historical roots of antisemitism, while others will focus on modern expressions of antisemitism, all aimed at combatting the spread of antisemitism in the United States and around the world.

One of the rally speakers, Dr. Michael Brown, a celebrated author and speaker and host of The Line of Fire radio program, said people often reflect on the Holocaust regarding antisemitism.

“We look back at the Christians in Nazi Germany and say, ‘Why didn’t they stand up and speak out? Why were they so silent? Why were they such cowards?’”

However, he noted that this current generation will also undergo historical scrutiny.

“How will history look back on us? This murderous tide of antisemitism is rising today, on our watch and in our day. How will we respond?” he asked.

Several Messianic artists like Joshua Aaron, Yaron Cherniak and Aaron Shust are scheduled to lead worship sessions throughout the rally.

The Oppose Antisemitism: Stop the Hate event is "open to people of all faiths and backgrounds who share a commitment to combating antisemitism and promoting a world where all people are treated with dignity and respect,” CPM announced.

Glaser said he hopes attendees will “be inspired” to take action.

“It is our hope that those who attend the rally will be inspired to engage with their churches and pastors, evangelical institutions, universities, and major denominations to rally fellow believers and take action against the rising antisemitism in North America and around the globe,” Glaser said.
