Wounded Fauda star Idan Amedi in stable condition, urges Israelis to unite amid war
Israeli actor and singer Idan Amedi, who was seriously wounded by shrapnel while serving as a reserve soldier in the Gaza Strip, successfully underwent surgery and is now in stable condition and able to communicate.
His friend, Knesset Member Chili Tropper (National Unity party) visited Amedi on Wednesday and afterward transmitted a message from him: “Idan Amedi asked for two things during the visit today,” Tropper wrote on X.
“First, he thanked everyone who cares and surrounds him with love. Second, that we don’t fall apart from the inside. In his words: ‘Brother, forget about me, I’ll be fine. What’s important is that we stay strong together.’ What a man. Good health, dear Amedi.”
Amedi was wounded during the fighting on Monday and airlifted to Sheba Hospital for emergency surgery, which saved his life.
